Use to
Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether is a medium to slow volatile solvent that can be used as a true solvent. It is the tail solvent for oil-based gravure and flexo printing inks and the basic solvent for oil-based screen printing inks.
Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether can be used as a solvent for high-grade electrophoretic paints.
Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether can be used as a couplant and solvent for household and industrial cleaning agents, grease and paint removers, metal cleaning agents and hard surface cleaning agents.
Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether is also used as a stabilizer for agricultural herbicide, fixative for essence, coalescing agent for ground polishing agent and brightener, emollient in cosmetic formula, couplant and solvent for some vat dyes and fabrics.
Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether is also a component of brake fluid.
