Use to
2-methoxy-1-propanol acetate and propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate have similar properties, so it can be used to reduce the viscosity of the system. The acetyl group can eliminate the active hydrogen in the hydroxyl group in alcohol ethers, so it can be used as solvents for polyurethane and other proton-sensitive systems.
